- The present
simple is used to describe regular actions or habits. It is often used
together with the adverbs of frequency like: always, sometimes,
often, rarely, hardly ever, never. These adverbs of frequency always
precede the main verb.

simple is also used to talk about events in the near future. these events
normally are scheduled events like for example train departure timetables,
etc...
